I have to admit that I bought these for the color because it is hard to find any green tri outfits for females...hey, don't judge, it's my lucky color. I love the way these fit, feel, and look. I bought a medium and I am 5'6", 130lbs and these fit perfectly with a fabulous bit of compression. The chamois is padded in just the right spots for the positioning on a tri bike and just enough to not feel like a diaper when running. They look a little shorter than the picture but I am a bit curvier than the model. Only gave it 4 stars because on the inside thighs the stitching is really rough. I cut some of the extra material extending from the stitching away and it is much better. Hopefully that wont chafe when I am training longer distances!I bought these to use when my husband and I go Island hopping on the Jet Ski. Bikini bottoms are cute, but do nothing for the rash that develops when you're riding through chop on salt water. I got tired of my skin getting rubbed raw and open and taking the better part of two weeks to heal. These shorts are the perfect answer! They sit low, covering my hips, but not up to my waist or even to my belly button, which is exactly when I wanted. They're longer than most rash-guard shorts that are available for women specifically for things like surfing or SUP boarding. They're about two inches above my knees, and I'm 5'6 and 165lbs. They're great for ocean going, they have a cuff for the thigh to prevent them from riding up. They dry quickly, the slight padding is nice for the toosh bones on chop, there's even two little pockets for things like SPF chapstick, or keys. I'm not a triathlete, so I can't say how they work for that purpose, but for mine, these are perfect!These trishorts are just perfect for me. I'm 5'6" and an athletic 145 lbs. I usually were size 6 or mediums in most clothes, and these mediums fit me just right. On the swim, these shorts are fitted enough such that there is no drag, and they don't stretch out when wet either. Moving to the bike, the main part of the shorts dry within 25 min while the waist band is still a little damp. My jersey may be more to blame for that though. While running, the shorts stay just where you want them to be :) I wear these with the matching bra for the swim, throw on a standard jersey for the ride, and switch to a looser fitting quick dry top for the run.These shorts are OK. I bought them to race in, but I'm not 100% satisfied and am still searching for something else. As someone else stated in their review, the shorts come up to your belly button in the front (which is fine), but the back is cut extremely low and barely covers my butt. I'm not really sure what the point of that is. Other than that, they fit fine, but I wouldn't recommend them!The color was as expected, but the fit was awkward... no sausage legs which is a plus but the back is cut low. It might just be my body type, larger bum & thighs, but it felt like I had to keep pulling them up to keep my crack from showing. Not cute! Total bummer since I really liked the colors!I really wanted these shorts to work because I have the matching singlet tri top. I returned them. They felt comfortable when I tried them on and looked good. As other reviewers said, they are shorter in the back. I am 5'9" and when I tried them on my bike, there was a small gap between my top and the shorts. I can't speak to how they would perform other than that because I didn't swim in them or put them through a workout. When I realized they were too short for cycling, they were a no go.I am returning these tomorrow. They barely cover my butt but go up over my belly button. The seam on the green elastic around the leg was rough and scratchy and were shorter than expected. I'm 5'4" and 145 lbs. I got a medium and it was a little tight. If I got a size up the waist I'm worried that it would be extremely too high. And it is more of a kelly green than the teal color shown. The picture I added is from the back and you can see how to front is already higher and that is without a butt filling it out.great material but this short runs small. I got the Elite Compression Shorts by 2XU and they are truer to size.Sizing comes up on the small size.
