The box was smashed and broken, seemed quite old. The boots had a slightly scuffed area on top of right shoe that didn’t seem to be “intentional distressing”. I like the fit and will order directly from Born to replace. Easy to get on even with a high instep. They were much brighter brown and didn’t have the nice worn in finish that the photo showed which had darker toe area. Anyway, just not quite what it looked like in photo.Love these! I ordered half a size bigger after reading reviews and they fit perfect. So comfortable.Definitely size up especially if you plan to wear big socks with them, overall amazing
